IV Administration set with 0.2µm inline IV filter for gravity infusions

Ready-to-use IV Administration set (type Intrafix® Primeline) serially equipped with 0.2µm inline IV filter to retain particles, bacteria and fungi and to eliminate air.

Advantages

3-part drip chamber design

  • With elastic bottom chamber and transparent dome. Allows to see drop forming and constant visual monitoring of the flow rate of infusion solutions
  • With Micro-Organism tight air vent filter (bacteria-tight and viral filter efficiency) with closable snap cap. Prevents the risk of contamination while venting the solution container
  • With fluid filter (15µm mesh size) to provide high flow rate
  • With clear and easy to pierce spike, featuring separated fluid inlet and air outlet to reduce risk of air entrainment 

Tube

  • Soft and clear PUR tubing with 3 x 4.1 mm lumen and 150cm length

0,2µm Inline Filter

  • Low protein binding
  • Eliminates effectively air in the line
  • Retains particles, bacteria and fungi
  • Helps to reduce the risk of medication errors since solid particles > 0.2µm occuring from incompatibility reactions are retained by the IV filter membrane
  • Is bacteria-tight and a closed system following NIOSH standards1
  • Min. flow rate ≥ 20 ml/min

Roller clamp

  • Enables fine and flexible adjustment of flow rates
  • Offers spike protection for safe disposal
  • With tube dock designed to support handling during priming

Patient Connector

  • With Luer Lock connection to the patient access.
